Theme: Every Employee Builds Quality, Every Employee Strengthens the Brand
Campaign Period: September 1–30, 2026

September 2026 marks China's 49th National Quality Month. Hebei Yongyang Special Steel Group has launched a company-wide campaign to strengthen quality awareness, improve process control, and encourage every employee to contribute to continuous improvement.
The campaign connects employee participation with lean management throughout the production process. By reinforcing standardized operations across the production chain and addressing challenges in critical processes, Yongyang aims to strengthen its brand through consistent product quality and earn lasting customer trust through reliable fulfillment of its commitments.
1. Gathering Employee Insights and Strengthening Quality Awareness
Quality begins with the care and responsibility of every employee. To embed the principle of "Quality First" in every role and process, Yongyang is conducting a company-wide survey on quality issues encountered in daily work.
Organized by work team, the survey encourages frontline employees to discuss and report gaps in the implementation of standards, the impact of upstream process quality, and weaknesses in the quality management system.
Every employee is encouraged to act as a quality observer, identifying problems and proposing practical improvements. The discussions also provide an opportunity to deepen employees' understanding of quality requirements and their individual responsibilities.
Following the survey, the company will review the feedback, identify gaps, and implement targeted measures, helping quality management move toward proactive prevention.

2. Strengthening the Foundations of Quality Management
Yongyang is reviewing its documentation, production processes, and management systems to build a stronger foundation for consistent quality.
Reviewing Documents and Correcting Gaps
Employee feedback and departmental self-assessments will support a comprehensive review of work instructions, management procedures, product standards, and process records.
The review will focus on inconsistent requirements and differences between documented procedures and actual practice. Joint evaluations will identify necessary revisions and ensure that improvements are implemented and followed through.
Conducting Targeted Quality Inspections
The Technical Center and production plants will jointly conduct three types of inspections:
-
Quality checks on critical raw and auxiliary materials to strengthen incoming material control.
-
Inspections of key production processes to verify compliance with process requirements.
-
Product quality checks in finished goods warehouses to reinforce control before dispatch.
Together, these inspections will help maintain control throughout the production process.
Carrying Out an Internal IATF 16949 Audit
An internal quality management system audit will assess conformity and effectiveness against IATF 16949 requirements, the company's quality manual, and other relevant documents.
The findings will support further improvements to the operation of the quality management system.
Improving Communication Between Production Stages
Employees from upstream processes will visit downstream operations to understand how their output performs in subsequent production stages.
Through direct discussions, teams will identify problems, clarify requirements, and improve coordination. This initiative reinforces the principle that "the next process is the customer," making quality responsibility clear at every stage.

3. Reviewing Quality Issues to Prevent Recurrence
The campaign includes structured reviews of past quality issues to identify root causes and prevent similar problems from recurring.
Holding Focused Quality Discussions
Led by the Technical Center, discussion sessions will bring together frontline employees, managers, and technical personnel.
Participants will examine representative quality issues from several perspectives, including compliance with standards, process control, and equipment support. The sessions will develop practical improvement measures based on collective experience.
Sharing Quality Stories from Everyday Work
Employees across the company are invited to submit real examples of quality improvement, technical problem-solving, and customer recognition.
By sharing the experiences of colleagues and teams, Yongyang aims to make quality principles more tangible and encourage everyone to take an active role in improving quality.

4. Tackling Persistent Problems and Developing Employee Skills
The campaign will focus on recurring quality issues and production bottlenecks through dedicated improvement projects and employee skills competitions.
Launching Targeted Product Quality Improvement Projects
Improvement projects will be established at both group and plant levels. Cross-functional teams will address selected challenges and report their progress and results at defined milestones.
Each project will include clear objectives, progress monitoring, and verification of outcomes to ensure that proposed improvements deliver measurable results.
Organizing Employee Skills Competitions
Job-specific competitions will assess theoretical knowledge, practical operating skills, and quality control capabilities.
These activities will connect training with day-to-day production needs, encourage teams to refine their working methods, and strengthen employees' ability to maintain consistent quality.

5. Connecting Feedback with Verified Corrective Action
Yongyang will combine production visits and customer engagement with a structured process for tracking quality issues through to resolution.
Understanding Production and Customer Requirements
The Raw Materials Section of the Marketing Department will visit production operations to understand material-related issues and purchasing requirements.
Production, technical, and sales personnel will also meet customers directly to collect product improvement suggestions and information on competing products. These exchanges will help identify performance gaps and establish priorities for quality improvement.
Tracking Issues Through to Closure
Issues identified through surveys and visits will be recorded, categorized, and assigned to the responsible departments for on-site verification and corrective action within specified deadlines.
Progress will be monitored throughout the corrective action process. Once measures are completed, their effectiveness will be verified, and the results will be shared with employees through the company's internal information platform.
This approach will ensure that identified problems receive sustained attention and are resolved effectively.
Building Customer Trust Through Consistent Quality
Quality is fundamental to Yongyang's business and to the trust placed in the company by its customers.
Through the Quality Month campaign, Hebei Yongyang Special Steel Group will continue to uphold the principles of "Quality First and Continuous Improvement," strengthen quality responsibility across the workforce, and deepen lean control throughout its operations.
By delivering dependable products and quality service, Yongyang aims to strengthen its market position and support the company's long-term, high-quality development.
