Hebei Polytechnic University is a national high-quality vocational college and has been selected as a high-level vocational college with distinctive characteristics in China. The School of Materials Engineering, as the oldest core department of the university, boasts metallurgical-related majors that are a hallmark of the school. Its scale of operation, faculty strength, and graduate quality rank among the top in similar institutions nationwide.

Our company has maintained a long-term industry-university cooperation with this university. To date, our company has established five "Yongyang Special Steel Targeted Training Programs" at the university, training over one hundred students (in metallurgical-related majors, etc.), achieving precise talent supply and continuously injecting new momentum into the company's development.

The delegation from the School of Materials Science and Engineering visited the company's Guodingxin Testing Center, special steel workshop, exhibition hall, and digital management center. From the research and development of new steel materials to the optimization of green production processes, from the application of intelligent equipment to digital management models, the company's technological strength and development potential left a deep impression on the team. At the subsequent meeting, both sides engaged in a lively discussion on topics such as the current technological bottlenecks facing the steel industry, the pathways for the transformation of university research results, and joint training models for interdisciplinary talents. The School of Materials Science and Engineering shared its latest research directions and resources in materials science and intelligent manufacturing, while the company, based on its actual production needs, raised specific requirements for technological breakthroughs and talent development. Finally, to further deepen the cooperative relationship and better serve the company, the School of Materials Science and Engineering established a "Teacher-Enterprise Workstation" at Yongyang Special Steel, and Secretary Meng Yanjun of the School presented the plaque to the company.

This exchange between the university and the enterprise not only enabled the college's faculty team to more accurately grasp the needs of the industry's front lines, but also provided our company with a new opportunity to introduce intellectual resources from universities and overcome technical challenges. Both parties reached a consensus to further explore the establishment of an integrated "production, learning, research, and application" cooperation mechanism in the future, achieving a deep integration of university research capabilities and enterprise industrial advantages, and jointly contributing to the high-quality development of the steel industry.
