On the basis of controlling the quality of products, Yongyang Special Steel actively promotes the advancement of industry standard YB/T5055 ‘Steel Rails for Cranes’, and continuously participates in the drafting and revision of industry standards. And on the basis of industry standards, the company has implemented internal control standards, independently set up four stringent testing indicators such as surface hardness, decarburisation layer, non-metallic inclusions and ultrasonic flaw detection, and introduced the railway rail flaw detection standards, so as to realise flaw detection by branch and full traceability. At the same time, the company has passed two major quality management system certifications such as GB/T19001 quality management system, IATF16949 quality management system for automotive production parts and weapons and equipment quality management system certification, and has used failure mode analysis (FMEA) and PDCA cycle management tools to form a ‘Prevention-Control-Improvement’ closed loop to ensure that the products from raw materials to the end of the product.
